It all depends on your connection security and the security of the website you're filling out applications on. Make sure you get the little lock indication showing that the site is secure before you put any personal information.
Also, many applications may require social security numbers. That is something that you want to keep secure. Either be VERY sure that your information won't get intercepted, or try filling out the application some other way if possible (i.e. print and fax it, call and apply on the phone, apply in person).i've never had a problem with filling out online applications. its easier and faster than going to each store and filling them out there, some still have paper applications available in the store. ive always applied online unless paper applications were only available. ive heard back from a couple places already.
good luck!i filled one out for best buy and i got a call for an interview the next day....
it may not be 100% safe...just don't fill ones out that arent secure (ones that dont have the little lock at the top of the address bar) or that you arent sure of what its for...
but the benefit of them is that the company cant lose your application and they get it faster..nothing online is 100 % safe...everything can be stolen.depends also on where...large company secure site, or ????#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
