This can't give you a criminal record or anything could it..?

  • Ok, I was hanging out with my friends and theres a school tradition at my school where we go 2 this neighborhood called Eastover and shoot paintball guns at our rival the day before we play them, so theres a bunch of people shooting paintball guns until the cops show up, we get stopped by a cop saying some ladys house got shot by paintballs(but there were TOO MANY people out there that she can accuse it of) and the cop(female cop) asks us whats going on and then she asks my 2 friends for there I.D.s(because they're the only ones with licenses) and she takes them, and asks us all where we live and I say the NAME of my street but she doesn't ask the rest of our names and I don't tell her mine and lets us go and says shes going to talk to my friend who was driving us parent's and this happened about 3 months ago and my friend said she didn't talk to his parents n nothing has happened to me or no phone calls. So what I'm basically asking is I couldn't have no warrant out for arrest or anything can I or my friends?


  • Two issues. #1 defacing the school. Public school = defacing public property. #2 accidentally hitting the neighbor's house = defacing private property, possibly assault. These are misdemeanors and you are probably under 18 which means the record would be sealed after you turn 18 anyway.

    You're lucky the cops didn't run you all in for painting your rival school. But as a courtesy you should gran some of your friends and go to the lady's house and tell her you heard some of your classmates painted her house and offer to clean it up.

    thats a minor problem to fix...

  • You would of been arrested and charged. You have a right to a trial and to be faced by your accusers. Basically they let you go. And you would definitely know if you got a criminal record.


  • I don't thank it has gone far If the woman ID you then there will be hell to pay depending on how old you are If you are under 18 your parents would be notified because you would be responsible They would have to pay all damages this could run in to bucks Why would yo take a chance on getting kicked out of school as well as having to pay for damages.


  • If the officer didn't get your full name and DOB (date of birth) don't worry about it.


  • Not unless she presses charges... and you wont get arrested. Its vandalism, though... so you wont get off free if she decides to do something about it. Chances are she wont, so be more responsible in the future because you might not be that lucky again.
