What is a Boots Chemist Advantage Card?

  • Each time I purchase from the store they ask me for my advantage card, I give it to them and they add points. I now have 630 points on my card, but what is it for?
I keep wanting to ask in store but the stores are so busy and there are so few staff.

    HELP!!

  • You get 4 point per £1 and you can redeem the points for products.

The points are the equivalent to 1 point= 1p.

So 630 points is £6.30 to spend in store or online.

You cannot combine points with cash or card though.

  • I'd check out this forum...
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/show...
tells you of different glitches in the system to gain more points or the best ways to spend your points.
If you use your boots card when you buy 5 meal deals in a calendar month you will receive your 6th free.
Recently if you purchased 3 soap and glory products you received 500 bonus points.
Boots also occasionally this time of year give you £10 worth of bonus points when you spend £50 which is really good. Considering it works with their 3 for 2. (Hope i haven't rambled)

  • You can redeem the points for products of that value. I think that's £6.30 and you can't part-use it - in other words it will have to be for a product of that value or less.

  • Wow! 630 points. You should be able to use your points towards your next purchase. This is what I do when I am skint. I often need to get my daughters cream for her eczema and her nappies from boots (boots label are better than any other own store label) When my points are accumulated, it means I can use them to offset the price of my next purchase - so I get a nice discount.
With your 630 points you should have a very nice discount next purchase... I am surprised the staff haven't suggested you take advantage of this. After all it is your ADVANTAGE Card.

  • it means that you can now get stuff for free to the value of €6.30 (or £), depending on where you live.

Just go to the till next time and say 'I'd like to use my advantage card points for this' and they'll deduct the points, and it will cost you nothing.

I save mine to get something special like a really good makeup

  • you can spend the spend these points on any items that equal to your points.

i.e 630 points might come up to £2.50, so you can get any items i.e sandwich that costs £2.50

the more points you get the money you have on your card.

    i had 2000 points which came £20.00

its really good, as sometimes when you dont have money to buy an item, use your advantage card and get it free. (its not free as you be spending to collect these points)

  • From what i understood from mine was that you can use your points to buy things in the store or online. I haven't got enough though yet :(
